Terms
Updated
This page is a template. Replace it with your own booking terms before you go live. What follows is a structure, not legal advice, and it has not been checked against the law that applies to you. Adapt it, and consult a lawyer in your jurisdiction before you publish it.
Booking and confirmation
Say when a booking becomes firm, what you take to hold it, and what confirmation the guest receives.
Rates
Say what the rate includes: breakfast, local tax, parking. Say what it does not.
Cancellation
Say the window, what is charged after it, and what happens to a no-show. This is the clause guests read, so write it in plain sentences.
Arrival and departure
Check-in and check-out times, late arrival, and what happens if a guest arrives outside them.
Damage, behavior and the things you do not allow
Say it plainly and say it once.
Which law applies
Name the jurisdiction and how a dispute is handled.
