Garden Room
Sleeps 2 · 18 m² · Queen bed · Garden view
Four of these, two on the ground floor, looking onto the walled garden at the back of the house.
from €140 / nightView room

The window is the reason to take one. It runs almost the width of the room, and from the bed you see the water and nothing else. On a clear evening you can see the light on the point, and on a wet night you can hear the foghorn, which some people book for and some people ask to be moved away from.
The house is 1890s: thick walls, a floor that creaks in two places, and no air conditioning. With the window open the room stays cool through August. In a westerly the windows rattle. We have not been able to fix this in twelve years and have stopped trying.
Rooms 4 and 6 have the same layout mirrored. If you have a preference, say so in your enquiry and we will do what we can.
First floor, up a staircase with a turn in it, and no lift. If stairs are a problem, take a Garden Room on the ground floor instead.
