The Weatherglass Suite

One of these

About this room

The corner room, and the only one with light from two directions: north over the water and west down the lane, which is where the weather arrives from. The barometer the house is named after hangs one floor below it.

The sitting area is a sofa, a small table and a lamp, in an alcove rather than a separate room. The daybed suits one child, or one adult who does not mind a daybed; it is not a second bedroom and we would rather say so now.
